Windy B characters and stories were conceived and written by John Barnett. The lovable Windy B people and their exciting adventures have delighted children for many years. John enjoys telling his Windy B stories at both national and international events, in bookshops, libraries, and at local primary schools in and around Cambridge. John enjoys doing his readings throughout the year, especially at Christmas time.
The Windy B stories became illustrated children’s books thanks to Alice Jamieson, the wonderful illustrator of all the Windy B characters and their adventures. Alice specialises in children's illustrations and her amazing pictures captivate children’s imaginations and make the young readers want to turn over the next page as soon as they can to see which picture Alice has come up with to go alongside John's stories.
